The need for a design system
Between 1st May 2023 - 15th July 2023: A total of 58 cases of fraudulent transactions were reported through government and online payments. 37 cases were reported from 17th June- 17th July.
To combat this, Manual OTP Entry freeze was imposed and Auto-fetch OTP was introduced
(18th July 2023).
Impact
After the implementation of In-App OTP manual freeze fraudulent activity saw a decline in the app.
